MOT CPD Training
The 5-year MOT tester refresher course has been replaced by MOT CPD Training. MOT testers are no longer required to attend the MOT tester refresher course but they all must complete 3 hours of annual training and pass an annual exam.
MOT tester refresher course has been replaced with MOT CPD Training.
Instead of the MOT tester refresher course, from April 2016, between April and March every year, MOT testers are now required to complete Continual Professional Development (CPD).
In order to maintain their testing status, all nominated testers will have to complete a minimum of 3 hours MOT annual training every year and pass an annual assessment. All testers are responsible for their own training, recording their training and keeping evidence of training. Also it is their responsibility to book and take the annual assessment.
